I know, I know. You're probably
thinking... What the heck is wrong with this guy? A Sailor Moon "FAN"???
Well, let me speak! I'm am by no means a Sailor Moon fan! (Well, I don't think I am...)
True, I do watch the television show and other worthwhile shows. But what constitutes a fan? I don't have
posters all over my room. (well, only here, but not in the room where I sleep in.)
I don't collect Sailor Moon toys or anything like that.
And I absolutely do not watch it for the character Sailor Moon (who reminds me of a former assistant manager
I worked with). On the other hand, I do watch the show because of the Japanese animation. I'm also amazed
by the artwork and the wide arrange of colour used.
My very favorite show I really liked watching was Robotech (Macross Series) back when I was a squirt attending
elementary school. And also, heh. you guessed it. I think Sailor Mars is cuuutte!
Okay. Now if you're interested in some information regarding Sailor Mars, here it is:When she's not Sailor Mars, she's known as Raye Hino. (Her first name is sometimes spelt Rei.) Sources say that she is 14 years old. Yeah Right! Well, maybe when the show aired 5 seasons ago (which makes her 19 now. Woohoo!). She lives with her grandfather in a temple. Her father is a politician who doesn't keep in touch while her mother unfortunately passed away when she was little. She attends a different school than her other sailor friends. Raye is always irritated by Serena, the leader of the Sailor scouts. I guess in every show, there has to be some internal conflict. Something like this adds a "human" quality into the show.
Her power revolves around the planet Mars. Her forte is fire (Red & Black are her favorite colors. Coincidence?). Her other spiffy spells are: Fire Soul bird which are fireballs but in the shape of a raven, Burning Mandala, Mars Flame Sniper and lastly, Mars Snake Fire which is her most powerful spell.
